Adding Bleed To Your A4 Artwork
If the image area right goes right to the edge of your artwork it’s important to add bleed to the outside of the page – typically this would be 3mm all the way around the document.
This is necessary so that when the page is trimmed you get a nice neat finish.
If you don’t add bleed to your artwork you will end up with white edges to your page which can look untidy.
Setting Your Business Cards Up In An A4 Document
When printing your business cards we require your design duplicated 8 times on an A4 sheet – this is the most economical way of printing. Each card will need crop marks so that we can easily trim them out and if the design to the edge of the card is 3mm bleed will need adding.
